lakectl은 lakeFS의 공식 CLI 도구예요. lakeFS Enterprise의 lakectl은 테넌트(tenant) 관리, 브랜치/오브젝트 라이프사이클 정책, 웹 브라우저 로그인 등 Enterprise 기능이 포함된 명령 레퍼런스를 제공해요. 저장소·브랜치·태그·오브젝트 관리부터 인증, 가비지 컬렉션 정책, 로컬 동기화까지 명령줄에서 다룰 수 있어요.

cmd/lakectl아래의 Go 코드 파일들에서 자동 생성돼요. Markdown 파일을 직접 수정하면 덮어써지므로, 변경은 관련 Go 파일에서 해야 해요.
lakectl을 로컬에 설치하기
lakectl은 Linux, macOS, Windows에서 사용할 수 있어요. Docker로 실행할 수도 있어요.
또는 Linux/macOS에서는 Homebrew를 사용해요:

자격 증명과 API 엔드포인트 설정
lakectl 명령을 설치한 뒤 다음을 실행해요:

이렇게 하면 여러분이 입력한 자격 증명과 API 엔드포인트로 $HOME/.lakectl.yaml 파일이 만들어져요.
새 설치를 세팅하고 초기 자격 증명을 만들 때(Quickstart 참고), UI가 미리 구성된 설정 파일을 내려받을 수 있는 링크를 제공해요.
lakectl 설정
lakectl은 YAML 파일(기본 경로 ~/.lakectl.yaml, --config 또는 LAKECTL_CONFIG_FILE로 재정의 가능)과 환경 변수에서 설정을 읽어요.

Docker에서 lakectl 실행하기
lakectl을 Docker 컨테이너에서 실행하고 싶다면, 설정 요소를 환경 변수로 넘겨서 실행하면 돼요. 예제예요:

lakeFS 자체를 로컬에서 실행 중이라면 Docker 컨테이너의 네트워킹 설정에서 이를 반영해야 해요. 다시 말해 Docker 컨테이너에게 localhost는 컨테이너 자신이지, 실행 중인 호스트 머신이 아니에요.
