커스텀 클러스터 도메인을 사용하는 Kubernetes 클러스터에서는 Linkerd를 --cluster-domain 옵션으로 설치해야 해요:

# first, install the Linkerd CRDs:
linkerd install --crds | kubectl apply -f -

# next, install the Linkerd control plane, using the custom cluster domain:
linkerd install --cluster-domain=example.org \
    --identity-trust-domain=example.org \
    | kubectl apply -f -

# The Linkerd Viz extension also requires a similar setting:
linkerd viz install --set clusterDomain=example.org | kubectl apply -f -

# And so does the Multicluster extension:
linkerd multicluster install --set identityTrustDomain=example.org | kubectl apply -f -

이렇게 하면 Linkerd가 모든 서비스 디스커버리, 라우팅, 서비스 프로파일, 트래픽 분할 리소스를 example.org 도메인으로 처리하게 돼요.

참고

mTLS가 동작하려면 아이덴티티 트러스트 도메인(identity trust domain)이 클러스터 도메인과 일치해야 해요.

참고

Linkerd를 업그레이드하면서 클러스터 도메인을 바꾸는 것은 지원되지 않아요.
